Alida Kinnie Starr
I’ve been making hip hop and folk and rock music for 25 years and have toured all over the world. I created a film called PLAY YOUR GENDER which addressed the lack of female producers worldwide (released in 2016). I scored EDGE OF THE KNIFE film, and am an experienced mentor who has worked at empowering young people and adults who are outliers - not native enough, not queer enough, not straight enough, not white enough, just … people who feel like they are not enough. I love working with outliers and have made music for the ones who don’t fit into the box since 1996. I work with minimal equipment for maximum results, and empower people to #usewhatyougot.

Stephen Hans
A locally known former MC of Skidegate, Haida Gwaii who inspired many to pick up a microphone and get their message out there. Recorded several rough mixtapes with original lyrics to well known instrumentals with friends.
I eventually decided I wanted to make the instrumentals, because I knew what sound I preferred, after hearing from a colleague that it could be done on a simple pc with the proper program.
I’ve been making beats electronic instrumentals since 2007. I went to music school (art institute of Vancouver) but could not create in that environment so I moved back to Haida Gwaii and went on to make almost 1000 beats to date.
