On Saturday February 10th, 2024, come to a free sound recording workshop from 1-5pm in Daajing Giids, facilitated by the multi-talented Jay Myers — everyone is welcome, no experience required.
Ever wanted to build skills in recording stories, language, interviews, or sounds of the ocean? Learn the basics of field recording and mixing, using devices in tandem with film, and recording sound in a variety of contexts. This workshop will serve as a great introduction to some valuable skills and equipment that can be rented from the Media Collective.
Gas reimbursements will be given to workshop attendees from the north-end.
